Source-Only Policy
No products are created without a verifiable source. Each product must have: source brochure name · supplier · page reference · source URL · extraction date. If a brochure cannot be read (PDF, image-based, Issuu), it is flagged as requiring a CSV import from the supplier. AI generation of product names, prices, specifications, images or dimensions is disabled.
Crawlable Brochures
Website-based sources where the HTML can be fetched. Crawl records the page structure and any image URLs present. Products must still be entered via CSV import with page references.
Requires CSV Import
PDF, FlipHTML5, PubHTML5, and Issuu brochures cannot be machine-read. Contact the supplier and request a product CSV export, then use Supplier Import to load verified data.
Rejected Products
Products are rejected when they cannot be verified against a source. No AI-generated names, prices, specifications, dimensions or images are permitted. A product must trace to a brochure page reference.
